87. Tag - Mann, Mann, Mann

Mann, Mann, Mann, dieser Epoxid Lack ist ein Zeug! Zu dickflüssig um es dünn zu streichen und härtet nicht schnell genug aus um Lackläufer zu vermeiden. Heute habe ich den dritten Tag den Tank lackiert. Ich stand vor der Dose mit dem Rest des Lackes und habe überlegt, wieviel ich anmischen soll. Ach was soll's, einfach den restlichen Härter in die Dose und los geht es. Die letzten 300g werde ich schon irgendwie auf den Tank bekommen. Da der Lack in der geschlossenen Dose langsamer aushärtet als auf dem Tank, konnte ich nacheinander 3 weitere Schichten Lack auf den Tank auftragen. Da sich der Lack genau so verarbeiten ließ, wie beim ersten mal, habe ich wohl vor zwei Tagen keinen Fehler beim Mischen der beiden Komponenten gemacht. Morgen wird der Tank schwarz lackiert und dann auf Dichtigkeit getestet.
Man, man, man, this epoxy paint is stuff! Too viscous to be painted thin and does not harden fast enough to avoid paint runners. Today I painted the tank for the third day. I stood in front of the can with the rest of the paint and thought about how much I should mix. Oh well, just put the rest of the hardener into the can and off you go. I will get the last 300g on the tank somehow. Because the paint hardens slower in the closed can than on the tank, I could apply 3 more layers of paint on the tank one after the other. Since the paint could be applied exactly the same way as the first time, I probably didn't make a mistake two days ago when mixing the two components. Tomorrow the tank will be painted black and then tested for tightness.

Hier kündigt sich schon ein neues Thema an (beim Tankausbau gefunden): Ölaustritt am Getriebeausgang. Könnte sein, dass es mit dem Parken in der steilen Garage zu tun hat. 
Here a new topic already announces itself (found during the tank removal): Oil leakage at the gearbox output. Could be that it has to do with parking in the steep garage.
