82. Tag - Windschutzscheibe / Windshield

Ich habe es satt! Das Gerappel der Windschutzscheibe raubt mir den letzten Nerv. Ich muss da jetzt ran.
Und wieder bin ich an dem Punkt, an dem ich mich über die Vorkriegskonstruktion freue:
- oberer Teil der Windschutzscheibe runtergeklappt
- Die Schrauben der beiden Kappen entfernt
- Kappen abnehmen und Scheibe rausziehen
Das war es. Wie einfach ist das im Vergleich zu modernen Scheiben.
I'm sick of it! The clatter of the windshield robs me of my last nerve. I have to get on it now. And again I am at the point where I am happy about the pre-war construction:
- upper part of the windshield folded down
- The screws of both caps removed
- Remove caps and pull out disc
That was it. How easy it is compared to modern windows.

Es ist schon mal gut, dass die Scheiben aus Verbundglas bestehen. die senkrechten Rahmen haben keine Dichtung (darum rappelt die Scheibe auch) und das untere horizontale Profil hat eine einfache Gummieinlage. 
It's a good thing that the panes are made of laminated glass. The vertical frames have no seal (that's why the pane rattles) and the lower horizontal profile has a simple rubber insert.

Hier sieht man den unteren Rahmen mit dem einfachen Gummiprofil.

Die passende Dichtung habe ich schon gekauft. Allerdings ist das Profil nur 105cm lang. Damit reicht es entweder für das untere Profil oder für die beiden senkrechten. Es reicht nicht für beide und schon gar nicht auch für das obere Fenster.
Das muss ich erst mal klären. Ich habe einen Post in der Facebookgruppe "Model T Ford Owners" geschrieben. Ich Bein gespannt welche Antworten ich bekomme.
I have already bought the suitable seal. But the profile is only 105cm long. So it is enough for the lower profile or for the two vertical ones. It is not enough for both and certainly not for the upper window. 
I have to clarify that first. I wrote a post in the Facebook group "Model T Ford Owners". I'm curious which answers I will get.

Bis ich die richtige Verwendung geklärt habe setze ich die Scheibe mit 4 kleinen Stücken des Profils ein. Vielleicht reicht es erst mal der Scheibe das Geklapper abzugewöhnen. 
Until I have clarified the correct use of seals, I insert the disc with 4 small pieces of the profile. Maybe it is enough to stop the clattering of the pane.

Den Rahmen muss ich komplett entrosten und neu lackieren. Das dauert mindestens eine Woche, in der ich den Wagen nur offen fahren kann, wenn überhaupt. Das muss ich genau planen. 
I have to derust and repaint the frame completely. This takes at least a week, during which I can only drive the car open, if at all. I have to plan this exactly.
