245. Tag - Ölverlust / Oil Leackage

Der Ölverlust beschäftigt mich noch immer. Das meiste Öl kommt aus dem 4. Hauptlager am Getriebeausgang heraus. Ich liege ständig unter dem Wagen und wische das Öl am Getriebe und der Ölwanne ab. Ich kann noch immer nicht verstehen, wieso das die ersten 1000km kein Problem war.
The oil loss is still bothering me. Most of the oil is coming out of the 4th main bearing at the transmission output. I am constantly under the car wiping the oil off the transmission and oil pan. I still can't understand why this wasn't a problem for the first 1000km.

Zuerst prüfe ich den Ölstand. 4 Liter Öl sind zuviel. Jetzt möchte ich mal schauen wieviel noch im Motor ist. Nach meiner Skala müssten es jetzt noch 3,5 Liter sein. Wenn es aus der oberen Schraube am Getriebe heraus läuft ist es zu viel. Wenn nichts herausläuft, kann das nicht der Fehler sein. Am Schauglas läßt sich das nicht ganz eindeutig erkennen.
First I check the oil level. 4 liters of oil are too much. Now I want to see how much is still in the engine. According to my scale, there should be 3.5 liters left. If it runs out of the upper screw on the gearbox it is too much. If nothing runs out, that can't be the fault. On the sight glass can not be seen very clearly.

Nach dem Aufschrauben kommt kein Öl heraus. Also ist der Ölstand nicht zu hoch. 
No oil comes out after unscrewing. So the oil level is not too high. 

Dieses Foto habe ich gemacht, nachdem ich den Wagen geparkt und den Getriebeausgang abgewischt habe. Eine halbe Stunde später ist Öl aus der Dichtfläche ausgetreten. Jetzt prüfe ich ob vielleicht die 4 Schrauben nicht mehr fest sind. 
Tatsächlich sind die beiden unteren Schrauben ziemlich locker. Ich konnte sie 2 Umdrehungen nachziehen. Die beiden oberen Schrauben sind fest. Das könnte jetzt verhindern, dass nach Abwischen noch Öl austritt. Es wird aber nicht verhindern, dass das Öl am Kardan herausläuft.
I took this photo after I parked the car and wiped the transmission output. Half an hour later, oil has leaked from the sealing surface. Now I check if maybe the 4 screws are not tight anymore. 
In fact, the bottom two bolts are pretty loose. I was able to tighten them 2 turns. The two upper screws are tight. Now this might prevent oil from still leaking out after wiping. But it will not prevent the oil from leaking out at the cardan.

Als nächstes werde ich den Wagen rückwärts in der Garage parken. Vielleicht ist das ja der Grund des Ölaustrittes. Der Wagen steht immer mit der Front nach oben in der hydraulischen Garage. Da könnte das Öl über das 4. Hauptlager in das Kardangehäuse laufen und dann beim Fahren austreten. Das könnte auc h erklären, warum der Ölaustritt nicht die 1000km auftrat. Da hatte ich den Wagen noch nicht in der Garage geparkt.
Next I will park the car backwards in the garage. Maybe that is the reason for the oil leak. The car is always parked front up in the hydraulic garage. There the oil could run over the 4th main bearing into the cardan housing and then leak out while driving. This could also explain why the oil leak did not occur the 1000km. I had not yet parked the car in the garage.
