226. Tag - Ölstandsanzeige / Oil Sight Gauge

Den Ölstandsanzeiger hatte ich schon mal vorgestellt. Dieser war keine Serienausstattung. Der Ölstand soll nicht über der oberen Schraube und nicht unter der unteren Schraube liegen. Es ist aber etwas umständlich immer die Schrauben zu öffnen. Den Ölstandsanzeiger wird in die untere Öffnung geschraubt. Man muss also nur unter das Auto schauen und schon weiß man wieviel öl im Motor ist. So einfach ist das nicht mal bei den heutigen Autos.
Beim Ölwechsel gestern, habe ich die Gelegenheit genutzt und eine Skala auf der Ölstandsanzeige angebracht.

Bei 2 Liter Füllmenge sieht man noch nichts im Schauglas.

I had already presented the oil sight gauge. This was not standard equipment. The oil level should not be above the upper screw and not below the lower screw. But it is a bit cumbersome to always open the screws. The oil sight gauge is screwed into the lower hole. So you only have to look under the car and you know how much oil is in the engine. It's not even that easy with today's cars.

During the oil change yesterday, I took the opportunity to put a scale on the oil level indicator.

With 2 liters of filling you can still see nothing in the sight glass.

Der Ölstand ist nun an der oberen Schraube.
