288. Tag - Motorgehäuse abdichten / Seal Motor Housing

Ich möchte nicht aufgeben den Motor ganz abzudichten. Zuerst versuche ich den Getriebedeckel ganz dicht zu bekommen. Ich versuche den Deckel leicht anzuheben und an der undichten Stelle noch etwas Klebstoff hinein zu spritzen. Der Deckel lässt sich aber nicht abheben ohne die Dichtung zu beschädigen. Entweder kann ich den Deckel von außen abdichten oder ich muss die Dichtung komplett erneuern. Ich versuche erst mal den Deckel von außen abzudichten.
I don't want to give up on sealing the engine all the way. First I try to get the gearbox cover completely tight. I try to lift the door slightly and squirt some more glue in at the leaky spot. But the cover can't be lifted off without damaging the seal. Either I can seal the door from the outside or I have to replace the gasket completely. I'll try to seal the lid from the outside first.

Die beiden undichten Stellen an der Ölwanne sind eigentlich beim Zusammenbau des Motors abzudichten. Da ich gerade keine Zeit und Lust habe den Motor auszubauen und zu zerlegen versuche ich erst mal ihn von außen abzudichten.
The two leaks on the oil pan are actually to seal when assembling the engine. Since I do not have time and desire to remove the engine and disassemble it, I'll try to seal it from the outside.

Zuerst löse ich die beiden Schrauben und entferne das Silikon. Dann reinige ich die Stelle mit Nitro Verdünner und dichte die Stelle erneut ab. 
First, I loosen the two screws and remove the silicone. Then I clean the spot with nitro thinner and seal the spot again.

Nach 7 km weiterer Fahrt hier nun das vorläufige Ergebnis. Die Stellen am Motorblock sind noch nicht ganz dicht, der Ölverlust ist aber noch mal reduziert. Auf dem nachfolgenden Bild gibt es zwei ganz kleine Öltropfen zu finden.

Nachdem ich den Wagen in die Garage gefahren habe, finde ich noch einen Tropfen Öl an der Kardanwelle. Die Relativbewegung der Kardanwelle hat die Abdichtung etwas aufgerissen.  
After 7 km of further driving here now the preliminary result. The spots on the engine block are still not completely tight, but the oil loss is reduced again. On the following picture there are two very small oil drops to find.
After driving the car into the garage, I find another drop of oil on the drive shaft. The relative movement of the drive shaft has torn open the seal a bit.  

Wenn ich ehrlich bin, habe ich nicht gedacht, dass eine nachträgliche äußere Abdichtung funktioniert.
If I'm honest, I didn't think retrofitting exterior waterproofing would work.
